Winchelsea Cultural Precinct PDF Print E-mail

The Surf Coast Shire has initiated a program to design and build a Cultural Precinct for Winchelsea - a major development which aims to provide significant visitor facilities to boost the appeal and amenities of the town.

Principally, the Cultural Centre will offer an official Visitor Information Centre, a cafe, internet access, and historical/cultural displays and information. The overall project will cost several million dollars and is expected to take some years to complete. At this stage, public consultation is being sought and in particular public responses to the Concept Display - you can download the Winchelsea Cultural Precinct Concept document here

 It is important to note that the above PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader required to be able to open the document) is a concept - public feedback is absolutely essential. Please study the document and submit both positive (what you like) and negative (what you don't like) comments to the Surf Coast Shire or a Surf Coast Shire Councillor. The local Councillor for Winchelsea is ;
